The Selective Mutism Network is managed by lived experience expert Natasha Dale.

Over the years, Natasha has spoken at an array of SM training events and campaigns across the UK. These have included the Selective Mutism information Research Association (SMiRA) annual conference, the National Selective Mutism Clinical Excellence Network, the University of East Anglia, BBC Radio Derby, BBC Radio Tees, and at various events alongside SLT Libby Hill. For her work in the SM community, Natasha was presented with a Giving Voice Award by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).

Natasha holds a BSc (hons) in Psychology and aspires to become an accredited speech and language therapist. She also holds an MA in Film, Television and Creative Practice and is passionate about creative communication. Her approach to supporting those with SM and other communication needs is rooted in creativity, flexibility, and fun.
